Keller’s Farmstand – Oswego, IL

To enjoy the best of the fall harvest, look no further than Keller’s Farmstand in Oswego, IL. If you visit on a weekday you can pick several varieties crisp and juicy apples and pears right off the tree or choose a prize-winning pumpkin from the large pumpkin patch. On weekends, visit for access to an expanded variety of attractions such as a 10-acre corn maze, wagon rides (weather permitting), a kids straw maze and a large kids play area. Stock up on seasonal homemade favorites such as apple cider, apple butter, apple cider doughnuts and pumpkin butter. Konow’s Corn Maze – Homer Glen, IL

If picking your own produce isn’t your thing, but you still want a taste of fall harvest, visit Konow’s Corn Maze in Homer Glen, IL. Meander through one of two unique corn mazes: a smaller maze which is approximately 0.4 miles of walking and a sprawling maze which totals to an impressive 3.4 miles of walking. If corn isn’t your thing, or you’re concerned about the fickle fall weather, don’t worry. In addition to numerous outdoor activities, Konow’s offers indoor attractions as well such as 2 corn kernel pits, and an indoor western town. At “Konow’s Mining Company”, kids can “mine for fossils and gems”. Make the most of of your visit by hitting up all the amusements in the afternoon and grabbing a bite to eat and listening to one of several live music performers in the evening. 



Morton Arboretum – Lisle, IL

For a more tranquil dose of fall, be sure to visit the Morton Arboretum. Even though visitors can enjoy the Arboretum 365 days a year on in the fall can you surround yourself in an explosion of colorful foliage Fall Color Festival. Lazily stroll among the trees or bring your bike for a beautiful dose of cardio.
